The High Country Area Agency on Aging is the central hub for resources and support for older adults in the North Carolina High Country. Through our direct services and provider network, we offer home and community based solutions, family caregiver support, a long-term care ombudsman, advocacy, and health promotion and disease prevention classes.
The High Country Area Agency on Aging is actively engaging providers and stakeholders to mitigate and prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) by following federal and state guidance, which aims to protect our most vulnerable populations. Please click the links below for more information from federal and state agencies regarding their guidance in response to COVID-19. We appreciate your flexibility during this time. We ask you to frequently contact and encourage friends and neighbors who may be lonely, worried, or vulnerable during this time of social distancing. Even a small gesture can make a big difference!
