In accordance with the High Country Area Agency on Aging’s mission of inclusivity, the agency recently became the first Area Agency on Aging in the state to receive a SAGECare platinum credential in LGBT cultural competency. With the number of LGBT adults over age 50 expected to double by 2030, the High Country Area Agency on Aging aims to help reduce isolation and discrimination while improving equity.
